Raiders of the Lost Tomb
The tortle fort of Ahoyhoy is built atop a rocky shelf that overlooks a sandy beach on the northwest coast of The Snout of Omgar, where the rainforest and the mountains meet. Tortles come here to socialise, lay eggs, and meet with traders. The place has no government. Tortles and guests are expected to be on their best behaviour, and those who become a nuisance are asked to leave – or forced out if necessary.
Tortles trade mostly food (fish – fresh and dried, fruit, vegetables), natural products (feathers, shells, animal products), domesticated (or semi-domesticated) animals, gems, shields, and simple weapons, including light crossbows and bolts. They are open to trade for things they don't need but can also be used for trade for things they do, so it's possible to find a diverse range of items in Ahoyhoy. They value metal items, including iron bars or objects that can be melted down and used.
Ahoyhoy has an amphitheatre for meetings and entertainment, an egg hatchery, a smithy, and a market.
